Alum Ryan Pavel Provides Keynote Presentation and Leads Panel Discussion at Veterans Day Program
In November, alum Ryan Pavel (Chicago, 2017-2018) a Marine Corps veteran and Chief Executive Officer of the Warrior-Scholar Project provided an inspiring keynote presentation during the Firm’s annual Veterans Day program and panel discussion with Winston veterans, including attorneys and professional staff. Ryan challenged everyone to identify a cause that matters to us and build service into our lives.
Ryan joined the Marine Corps at age 17 after being rejected by the University of Illinois. This decision changed him and taught him the immense value of service and working with a collective towards a broader purpose. Today, his professional life revolves around empowering veterans and service members to apply to and complete rigorous degree programs at top-tier institutions and become civic leaders.
